Fisherman’s Village at 13755 Fiji Way in Marina Del Rey is the marina’s New England-style waterfront village — a cluster of shops, restaurants, and a public boardwalk along the marina’s southern channel. Through the holiday season, the village runs free weekend programming each December: live music every Saturday and Sunday, photos with Santa and his elf on select weekends, a Letters to Santa station for kids, holiday décor strung along the boardwalk, and the village’s signature outdoor fireplaces along the channel for evening warmth.
The village is also one of the best free viewing spots for the Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade — boats turn the corner into the village’s channel section, putting the decorated fleet just yards from the waterfront tables and the public boardwalk.
For families across Marina Del Rey — the Silver Strand peninsula, the Mariners Bay condominium clusters, the Marina Peninsula — and the surrounding Westside neighborhoods (Venice, Playa Vista, Playa Del Rey, Mar Vista), this is the harbor’s long-running drop-in holiday experience. Distinct from the kinetic Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade (one anchor evening of decorated boats moving through the marina) and the formal Burton Chace Park Tree Lighting civic evening; Fisherman’s Village is the recurring weekend-festivity character of the harbor.
